Our Team
Since 1985, Bradford Builders has been providing quality design, smooth construction process, and outstanding customer service to the people of Hancock County. Deeply rooted in the community, we are proud members of Greenfield Main Street, the National Association of Home Builders, the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce, and the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis.
Our team takes a unique and customized approach to each project and values careful craftsmanship, thoughtful management, and attention to detail. Meet the Bradford Builders Team below, and learn how their individual skills and talents contribute to our high standard of project excellence.
Brad > Business Management, Design, and Sales
In 1984, Brad took advantage of an opportunity and began to sell and design remodeling projects for his own clients. Forty years later, Brad is still energized by the challenges of managing a small business and coming up with efficient and effective solutions to clients’ problems. In the early years, Brad did everything—sales, design, business management, project management, and carpentry in the field. Field staff now bring Brad’s ideas to life, but he still is excited and satisfied when problem-solving for clients and managing the operations of the business. Brad has a degree in architecture technology from Purdue University. He and his wife, Mary, live in Greenfield and have two children and two grandchildren.
Andy > General Manager
Andy’s love of construction and design began in high school when he worked with a local architect and contractor to design a church, auto dealership, restaurant, and several homes. He studied architecture at Ball State University and subsequently worked in construction industry sales. He joined Bradford Builders in 2021. He feels fortunate to have been involved in the design of many exciting and interesting projects with Bradford Builders. He obtained the Certified Aging in Place designation in 2022. Andy and his wife raise livestock on their farm in western Hancock County and he enjoys watching sports, especially basketball. Andy is also involved in several community organizations, including the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Greenfield Main Street Board of Directors Executive Committee, and Ivy Tech-Anderson Advisory Council for the Industrial Technology Trades department. Andy is also an active member of Home Artisans of Indiana.
Matt > Sales
Matt has turned his degree in visual communications into a successful career in residential remodeling. Matt owned his own company for a decade before joining the Bradford Builders team. Outside of the office, Matt is a single parent to a 15-year-old daughter. When he’s not spending time with her, he enjoys music, reading, movies, yardwork, and home improvement projects.
Chrissy > Office Manager
In 2022, Chrissy took on the office manager role at Bradford Builders, after an 18-year career with a commercial construction company where she was a project coordinator and safety coordinator. When she is not at work, Chrissy enjoys spending time with her two children. She also teaches gymnastics and attends her daughter’s and her husband’s basketball games. Chrissy is a board member of Poss-Abilities of Hancock County, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for youth of all abilities to interact, learn, and grow with livestock.
Mary > Office Assistant
Mary and Brad married in 1985 and started Bradford Builders the same year. From the beginning, Mary kept the books, handled communications and marketing, and filled the office manager role. She recently began scaling back her hours to spend more time with her grandsons, riding horses, and playing tennis. Mary is a graduate of Butler University. Increased literacy throughout society is important to Mary, so she and her dog, Zellie, volunteer as reading buddies with Bentley’s Buddies.
Chaz > Project Manager
Chaz joined Bradford Builders as a painter in 2017 and moved into the project manager role in 2022. Chaz’s experience as a painter taught him about attention to detail and he uses that skill every day as a project manager. Chaz is a full-time single dad to his elementary school-aged daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys wood burning, remote control truck building, and roller coasters.
Chris > Field Staff
Roofing for extra money as a teenager is what got Chris into the building trades. He builds things for fun—as well as a career! Chris and his wife have been married for more than twenty years and have three children and one grandson. Chris and his family live in Shelbyville. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, and building things—including custom cabinetry.
Todd > Field Staff
Todd is a self-proclaimed early bird who likes every food he can think of! Todd started in the construction industry in 1983 and joined Bradford Builders in 2003. His favorite part of his job is installing electricity in clients’ homes and bringing them to life. “Flip a switch and that light will come on,” he says. Todd is multi-talented and may also be found working on other parts of a project. If Todd could have a superpower, it would be to ensure that every child has gifts on Christmas Day. Todd’s favorite sports teams are the Indianapolis Colts and the LA Dodgers.
George > Field Staff
George is an Army veteran who has been working in various phases of construction for 26 years. He uses that knowledge to help keep Bradford Builders’ projects moving smoothly by making sure materials, supplies, and equipment are on-site on time. He also helps with jobsite clean-up and trash disposal and anywhere else he is needed. George has three children and two grandchildren. He likes to spend his free time camping. He also has a large garden and cans his own vegetables.
Jack > Field Staff
Jack is from Greenfield and joined Bradford Builders in 2024. Jack is an important part of the team as he moves from job to job to pitch in and help with whatever needs to be done to move the job along toward completion. In his free time, Jack likes to fish and hunt. He has also coached baseball with New Palestine Youth League for six years, most recently as head coach of a team in the ten- to 12-year-old age group. Jack also shares his time with the homeless at Christmas and delivers coats and other essentials to those in need.
Zellie > Client Support Specialist & Greeter
Zellie is a black Australian Shepherd adopted by Brad and Mary in 2015. She is a devoted staff member and hates missing a day at the office. She loves to sit in on meetings and is quietly supportive of all ideas and viewpoints. Zellie is also very serious about her job as a reading buddy with Bentley’s Buddies and always encourages her students to do their best. Her students say she is “so cute!”
